If you are in this part of Arizona make sure to pay a visit to Lake Mead. Lake Mead gets very little rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while June is generally the driest month. Lake Mead National Recreation Area is a nice national park, and while here here do have a look at close by South Beach. This lake is so wonderful. Sugarloaf Mountain is a peak you can spot from Lake Mead, and camping at Boulder Beach Campground is always a tremendous

| | experience. This lake is so wonderful. Cape Horn is in the vicinity and always great to take a look at; a magnificent location to stop at nearby is Boy Scout Canyon. For the duration of the months of summer at Lake Mead highs are typically in the 100's; the overnight is rather chillier of course, generally in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are usually in the 60's; night lows at Lake Mead during the wintertime usually drop into the 20's. | |

And that's not all you can do here at Lake Mead. Lake Mead is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Hemenway Campground is a delightful local campground, and one of the best things about this place is its proximity to Special
Events Beach. After a long day outdoors Boulder Inn And Suites is a good location to spend a night or two, and since you're here at Lake Mead, checking out Hemenway Wall is a must. Boulder Dam Hotel is a great site to get some
rest, and don't leave Lake Mead without first paying a visit to Lost Man Hot Spring. Lake Mead is near Hoover Dam which is a striking place certainly worth a visit, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Colorado River.
