The beauty of Lake Mead is reason enough to stop by. Hoover Dam has brilliant water scenery and it's right next door to Lake Mead, and a tremendous close by hotel is Best Western Lighthouse Inn & Resort. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Boulder Beach Campground is a good place to do that, and if you want to hit the beach, Special Events Beach is around here. All through the warm days of summer here at Lake Mead, high temperatures frequently reach

| | the 100's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 60's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Lake Mead.
This lake is so wonderful. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Lost Man Hot Spring; get your heart beating on the glorious whitewater of Colorado River. Hemenway Wall is a nice place to stop by while in the region; Boulder Dam Hotel is a wonderful place to get some rest. Any time is a tremendous time at Lake Mead if you go for the outdoors. On a tremendous day it's
a wonderful idea to spend the day at South Beach, and going to Lake Mead National Recreation Area is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. There's so much to do here at Lake Mead that you need to camp here for a while,
Hemenway Campground is a magnificent place for that, and Sugarloaf Mountain is stunning and can be made out from here.
It is very dry here at Lake Mead commonly; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily August, that's the one that rains the most, and June is when it's the driest.
