choice. It is very dried up here at Lake Mead frequently; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is June. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Colorado River. There's so much
to do here at Lake Mead that you need to camp here for a while, Hemenway Campground is a splendid place for that. For the duration of the months of summer at Lake Mead highs are typically in the 100's. Once the sun is down it
falls down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 60's while the cold winter nights at Lake Mead are in the 20's.
