If you like lakes and you're in this part of Arizona you can check out Lake Mead. If you want a little side tour, try Boy Scout Canyon; a trip to Lost Man Hot Spring will fill your spirit with good feelings. If you want to visit some exciting stuff, visit Hemenway Wall; close by you find Cape Horn. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Colorado River, and a glorious close by hotel is Boulder Dam

At Lake Mead you don’t see much precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is June. warm months here at Lake Mead, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 100's. Through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's. Highs all through the winter are ordinarily in the 60's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here
at Lake Mead. Lake Mead really is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop at C C C Reservoir right next door to Lake Mead, it's a beautiful lake; Lake Mead is good enough to spend more than
a day at, Hemenway Campground is a good local campground. A pretty lake like Mursha Reservoir right next door to Lake Mead is a great spot to stop by; after a long day outdoors Boulder Inn And Suites is a perfect place to spend a night or two.
