     There's so much to do here at Knoll Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Horton Campground is a good site for that; if you need a location to stay Kohls Ranch Lodge is a great choice. Through the summertime at Knoll Lake highs are ordinarily in the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are regularly in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Knoll Lake are in the 20's. Whohoo, so many amusing things  
   in one place! The Mogollon Rim Mountains rules! You'll need more than a day to discover everything Knoll Lake has to offer, you can camp at Knoll Lake Campground; don't leave Knoll Lake without first going for a hike along the Myrtle Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Sandstone Canyon is a brilliant site to go to nearby, and there are other locations here than Knoll Lake, for example Horseshoe Lake. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting things
 
               the Mogollon Rim Mountains has to offer. Going for a hike on the Horton Creek Trail is always a splendid adventure It's always perfect to explore Double Cabin Spring. Knoll Lake is one of the lakes here in the Mogollon Rim Mountains.
Knoll Lake gets a common amount of rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while June is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Any time is a fine time at Knoll Lake if you fancy the outdoors. There are tremendous places to look at along the Highline Trail, and there's some exciting stuff to spot at Knoll Dam close to Knoll Lake.
Super 8 Motel Payson is a tremendous site to get some rest. Lakes? Sure, Lake Number Four is in the neighborhood.

The fire was active yesterday due to increased temperatures, moving to the southwest and reaching the Highline Trail. A successful burn-out was conducted last night along a ridge on the eastern boundary.

The area encompassed by the following trail boundaries (including the trails themselves) is closed to support firefighting operations and provide for public safety until further notice: On the west side, from the top of Rim Trail 290 (Col. Devin Trail) and Trail 390 (Railroad Tunnel Trail) down to the Washington Park Trailhead. Closures on the south side are from Trail 31 (Highline Trail) at the Washington Park Trailhead east to Trail 30 (Myrtle Trail). Closures on the east side are Trail 30 (Myrtle Trail) from the top of the Rim south to the intersection of Trail 31 (Highline Trail).

My fiance and I spent a crisp 14 degree night at bear flats, it was absolutely breath taking. The sound of running water washing over the rocks, tall pines, sheer cliffs and at night you would not believe how many stars you could see. We have camped all over in the state of Arizona and this is one of our top three choices. Great place for the kids with the water, small little pools that are not so deep. ...
