For the period of the summer months at Knoll Lake temperatures are generally in the 90's, and the overnight is rather cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Knoll Lake throughout the winter usually plunge into the 20's. An average amount of precipitation falls at Knoll Lake; the month of August is the wettest with most of       the rain while June is ordinarily the driest month. A magnificent place to camp here at Knoll Lake is Horton Campground, and dry warm beds await you at Kohls Ranch Lodge. So many cool things to do here in the Mogollon Rim Mountains, too pleasant to be true. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel is a delightful choice. Knoll Lake is a beautiful lake in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. What a place this is for outdoors people. A delightful site in the neighborhood                  of Knoll Lake is Sandstone Canyon, and Knoll Dam has pleasant water scenery. This lake is so wonderful. Knoll Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Knoll Lake Campground is a great local campground; don't leave Knoll Lake without first going for a hike along the Horton Creek Trail. Man, is there a heap of fun stuff to do in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Highline Trail, and Horseshoe Lake is a nice lake close by.
