A delightful lake like Nutrioso Reservoir in close proximity to Jarvis Lake is a great place to have a look at. There's so much to do here at Jarvis Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Nelson Reservoir Campground is a good place for that; why not a little side trip to Auger Creek. All through the summertime, highs typically are in the 70's at Jarvis Lake. All       through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and night lows at Jarvis Lake during the wintertime mostly plunge into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. A short trip to Robinson Spring is always worthwhile, and Jarvis Dam has great water scenery. Now, you may feel that's loads but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Jarvis Lake. Jarvis Lake is great enough to spend more than a day                  at, Alpine Divide Campground is a great local campground, and Black River - East Fork has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Mogollon Rim Mountains. Lakes are such serene locations, why not pop by Riggs Creek Reservoir right next door to Jarvis Lake, and since you're here at Jarvis Lake it's a delightful idea to check out Mesa Sink Hole. On a fine day at Jarvis Lake you can take a hike along the Escudilla National Recreation Trail, and if you need a spot to stay Days Inn - St. Johns is a nice choice. Yep, outdoors cool stuff truly is abundant here in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Sunrise Inn, and there is a nice hiking trail close by called the Foote Creek Seventy-six Trail.
