     You'll need more than a day to explore everything Jacob Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Southwest Recreation, and do take a look at Jacob Lake, it's a picturesque lake. Jacob Reservoir is a nice location to visit for more than one day, Jacob Lake Campground is a nice location to camp nearby; since you're here, you could also pop by beautiful Hidden Lake. All through the warmest time of the year at Jacob Reservoir temperatures are generally in the 90's  
   with nighttime lows in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 40's with temperatures at Jacob Reservoir dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. At Jacob Reservoir you don’t see much precipitation; during March this area sees the most rain, and June is when it's the driest.
This lake is so wonderful. A trip to Pipe Spring National Monument is worthwhile.
