If you came to camp White Horse Lake Campground is a delightful place to do that, and there's some flowing water close by, JD Dam Wash is a stream you can explore while here. This lake is so wonderful. You might want to pay a visit to Lee Canyon since you're here at JD Dam Lake; the sight of Ruin Mountain is beautiful. Not much rainfall falls here at JD Dam Lake; most of the rain falls through August, and June is the month with the least moisture. JD Dam Lake

| | is great enough to spend more than a day at, Dogtown Campground is a great local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Williams East/Grand Canyon Area. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun things the area near JD Dam Lake has to offer. There is a perfect hiking trail close to JD Dam Lake called the Sycamore Basin Trail, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Mountain Ranch & Resort is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. | |

On a tremendous day at JD Dam Lake you can take a hike along the Little Lookout Trail; you're most likely into lakes, White Horse Lake is one of those nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Really fine skiing awaits you at Williams, and
going for a hike on the Winter Cabin Trail is always a delightful adventure. There are some delightful whitewater spots on Verde River, and if you've had enough of JD Dam Lake, Pocket Lake is nearby. At JD Dam Lake during the
warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are frequently in the 40's, and night lows at JD Dam Lake during the wintertime typically drop into the 20's.
