After a long day outdoors Super 8 Williams East/Grand Canyon Area is a delightful site to spend a night or two, and Canyon Motel and RV Park is a fine campground nearby. One of the main features of the surroundings of Ice Pond is Aspen Hill, and lakes are such serene places, why not pop by City Reservoir. Around Ice Pond you don’t get a lot of precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here, and June is when it's the driest. Very wonderful scenery

| | and pleasant skiing is what you get at Williams, and if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike along the Bill Williams National Recreation Trail. Dogtown Reservoir is a good lake close to Ice Pond, and Dogtown Campground is a nice local campground. High temperatures at Ice Pond through the months of summer are in the 80's, and the nighttime is somewhat colder of course, commonly in the 50's. the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Ice Pond plunge into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. On a great day at Ice Pond you can take a hike along the Sycamore Basin Trail. This lake is so
wonderful. Sevier Flat is a pretty spot any time of year; going for a hike along the Benham National Recreation Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. So many enjoyable things right next door to Ice Pond, completely
phenomenal. Dogtown Dam is a place that is near Ice Pond, and if you need a site to stay Mountain Side Inn-AZ is a good choice.

Canyon Motel and RV Park

You can stay in one of two 1929 Caboose suites or even the 1950's Grand Canyon Pullman Railcar suite, which makes this a fun place to overnight if you're planning on taking the excursion train to the Grand Canyon. An indoor pool, horseshoe pit, swing set, fire ring, barbecues, and numerous nature trails provide plenty of entertainment for the whole family. There’s is also a first class deluxe 47 space RV park with full services at each site and an Internet Cafe with Free Wi-Fi service. They have great tent camping spots right next to the national forest. This incredible property also offers a full service Laundry along with bathrooms and Showers & a group recreation room.
