This lake is located in the wonderful Mogollon Rim Mountains. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Hurricane Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Hurricane Lake temperatures fall to the 10's. The amount of rain that falls at Hurricane Lake is close to the national       average; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. But wait, there's more to do next to Hurricane Lake. A great place to camp here at Hurricane Lake is Drift Fence Lake Campground, and there are other sites here than Hurricane Lake, for example Drift Fence Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Really fine skiing awaits you at Sunrise Park, and the Sheep                  Crossing_Baldy Ninetyfour Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close by. Camping at Hurricane Lake Campground is always a great experience, and Reservation Lake is a magnificent lake close by. Get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Black River - East Fork, and there is a wonderful hiking trail nearby called the Chitty Canyon Trail Thirty Four. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. That right there is a lot of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Mogollon Rim Mountains has it all.
