What a nice lake Horseshoe Reservoir is. Horseshoe Reservoir gets very little rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is June. After a long day outdoors Carefree Resort and Villas is a pleasant place to spend a night or two, and a quick tour to Davenport Wash is absolutely a fine idea. You get a good view of Mesquite Flat from Horseshoe Reservoir, and Horseshoe Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out. This lake

| | is so wonderful. A tour to Horseshoe Reservoir wouldn't be complete without taking a look at J M Spring, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Verde River. While you're here at Horseshoe Reservoir you can take a hike along the Willow Spring Trail. Lakes are nice; Bartlett Reservoir is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Horseshoe Reservoir.
