A short trip to J M Spring is always worthwhile, and Mesquite Flat is a peak you can catch a sight of from Horseshoe Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Willow Spring Trail, and a fine place for whitewater paddling is Verde River. Through the summer months highs here at Horseshoe Reservoir reach the 100's with nighttime lows in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 50's, and during the dark hours in the

| | wintertime at Horseshoe Reservoir temperatures dip to the 30's. Do have a look at Burnt Hole Spring Number One in the neighborhood of Horseshoe Reservoir, it's a wonderful lake, and don't leave Horseshoe Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Table Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Horseshoe Dam is worth stopping at if you're here; if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Verde River. | |

If you need a spot to stay The Boulders Resort & Golden Door Spa is a glorious choice, and a stunning lake like Bartlett Reservoir is a pleasant site to stop at. Now, you may imagine that's a heap but there's even more enjoyable stuff
to do here at Horseshoe Reservoir. Go for a hike on the Verde River Trail Number Eleven; camping at Cave Creek Campground is always a tremendous experience. A great close by hotel is Villas of Cave Creek, and swing by Davenport
Wash it's a perfect place to pop by. It is very dehydrated here at Horseshoe Reservoir ordinarily; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while June is regularly the driest month.
