Horseshoe Reservoir is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Not much precipitation falls here at Horseshoe Reservoir; August is the wettest month with most rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Davenport Wash while you're here at Horseshoe Reservoir. Throughout the days of summer at Horseshoe Reservoir temperatures are regularly in the 100's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs
in the 50's, and night lows in the 30's for Horseshoe Reservoir. If you need a place to stay Carefree Resort and Villas is a wonderful choice; a nice nearby hotel is The Boulders Resort & Golden Door Spa. Whitewater paddling is not
for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Verde River; the Willow Spring Trail is a pleasant hiking trail close by.
