    What a nice lake Horseshoe Reservoir is. Horseshoe Reservoir gets very little rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is June. After a long day outdoors Carefree Resort and Villas is a pleasant place to spend a night or two, and a quick tour to Davenport Wash is absolutely a fine idea. You get a good view of Mesquite Flat from Horseshoe Reservoir, and Horseshoe Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out.
This lake
 
   is so wonderful. A tour to Horseshoe Reservoir wouldn't be complete without taking a look at J M Spring, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Verde River. While you're here at Horseshoe Reservoir you can take a hike along the Willow Spring Trail. Lakes are nice; Bartlett Reservoir is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Horseshoe Reservoir.
This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at The Boulders Resort & Golden Door Spa, and get soaked paddling
 
               on Verde River. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Burnt Hole Spring Number One, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Verde River Trail Number Eleven. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area near Horseshoe Reservoir has to offer. Going for a hike along the Table Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and camping at Cave Creek Campground is always a fine experience.
All through the summertime months at Horseshoe Reservoir highs are generally in the 100's, and the night is rather colder of course, frequently in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Horseshoe Reservoir.
