Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Lake Number Four. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Horseshoe Lake highs are frequently in the 90's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Horseshoe Lake. There's so much to do here at Horseshoe Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Horton Campground is a great place for that, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Highline Trail. Horseshoe Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Knoll Lake Campground is a brilliant local campground, and going for a hike on the Bear Flat Pleasant Valley Trail is always a pleasant                  adventure. A delightful nearby hotel is Kohls Ranch Lodge; getting to East Fork Horton Creek from Horseshoe Lake is simple. The yearly rainfall here at Horseshoe Lake is about average; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is June. This lake is so wonderful. Gentry Spring is a beautiful site to take a look at while you're at Horseshoe Lake, and not far from Horseshoe Lake you'll find Knoll Lake which is a scenic lake. The Mogollon Rim Mountains scenery is always beautiful. That right there is a load of amusing things already but it goes on, the Mogollon Rim Mountains has it all.
