There's so much to do here at Horseshoe Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Horton Campground is a tremendous location for that, and Super 8 Motel is a pleasant spot to get some rest. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Horseshoe Lake; August is the month that gets the most rain while June is regularly the driest month. Having a good time in the Mogollon Rim Mountains is uncomplicated.       Horseshoe Lake is a beautiful lake in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. Summertime at Horseshoe Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Horseshoe Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Horseshoe Lake; Horton Creek Trail is a perfect local trail; do have a look at East Fork Horton Creek while you're here at Horseshoe                  Lake. Just can't get enough of Horseshoe Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Highline Trail; do take a hike on the Bear Flat Pleasant Valley Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Knoll Lake is a wonderful lake in the neighborhood of Horseshoe Lake, and Gentry Spring is an inspiring spot to pop by while here. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool things the Mogollon Rim Mountains has to offer.
