Take a hike on the Sheep Crossing_Baldy Ninetyfour Trail, and you can stay the night at Greer Lakes Campground. On a pleasant day you can go to Wing Marsh, a swamp right next door to Hog Wallow Lake; Hog Wallow Dam is striking. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. Lakes are       good; Pool Corral Lake is a lake that's close to Hog Wallow Lake, and do put some time aside to spend at Head of South Fork Spring while you're here at Hog Wallow Lake. All through the warm days of summer here at Hog Wallow Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Hog Wallow Lake. So much enjoyable                  stuff in the Mogollon Rim Mountains, just phenomenal. Greer Campground is a delightful campground nearby, and there's whitewater on Black River - East Fork for all you adrenaline people. Hog Wallow Lake is a beautiful lake in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. At Hog Wallow Lake you can distinguish Pool Knoll, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Sunrise Inn is a wonderful location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Hog Wallow Lake is a good spot of normal rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest of the months is June. This lake is so wonderful.
