There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. Get covered with water paddling on Black River - East Fork, and if you want to stop by some out of the ordinary stuff, stop by Amberon Point. Some of the water nearby flows, like East Fork Little Colorado River, and you'll locate a striking lake called Tunnel Reservoir. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Hay       Lake. All through the summertime months at Hay Lake highs are generally in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Hay Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Hay Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Greer Campground is a perfect local campground; Sunrise Park has brilliant slopes and a friendly staff. Hay Lake gets a common amount                  of rain; during August this area sees the most rain; June is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps don’t sound that brilliant but Wing Marsh in the neighborhood of Hay Lake is rather brilliant. There's so much to do here at Hay Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Greer Lakes Campground is a great location for that. This lake is one of the great places here in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff at Hay Lake. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Bamke Spring; here at Hay Lake you can make out Sizer Knoll. While you're here at Hay Lake it's a good idea to check out Amberon Flat, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Sunrise Inn is a fine location to spend a night or two. Hog Wallow Dam has great water scenery and it's in close proximity to Hay Lake, and Butler Canyon is a great spot to spend some time. So many cool things to do in the Mogollon Rim Mountains, not sufficient time.
