Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Yankee Doodle Trail. Why not camp at Lower Wolf Creek Campground since you're here at Hassayampa Lake, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Mount Francis Trail Forty Eight. Hassayampa Lake is a location that is pretty dried up usually; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month       of the year is June. If you came for an overnight stay Hilltop Campground is a good place to camp; there's always Hassayampa Check Dam to check out close to Hassayampa Lake.
