     Hades Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Going for a hike on the Old Kaibab Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and Grand Canyon National Park is a very nice place to stop at. After a long day outdoors The Grand Hotel is a nice spot to spend a night or two It's always tremendous to go to Basin Spring.
Through the long summer days at Hades Lake highs are usually in the 70's, and the nighttime is somewhat colder of course, mostly in the 40's. Through the
 
   winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Hades Lake. You're most likely keen on lakes, Greenland Lake is one of those nearby. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Hades Lake has to offer, you can camp at Roaring Springs Campground. So much fun stuff to do at Hades Lake, so little time. There's so much to do here at Hades Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Suspension Bridge Campground is a pleasant site for  
               that, and there is a brilliant hiking trail close by called the Tiyo Point Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. From Hades Lake you acquire a fine vista of Lindbergh Hill, and almost certainly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Little Park Lake is just a very short distance away. Hades Lake gets very little rain; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow while June is frequently the driest month. The Basin is right here at Hades Lake, and Holiday Inn Express Grand Canyon, Az is a glorious site to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. Near Hades Lake you stumble on the Transept Trail which is a great hiking trail; Hades Lake is a spot with many visitors from Flagstaff.

(...) Hermit trail is in the Grand Canyon! And anyone who thinks it will be in the 70's in summer in the bottom of the Grand Canyon is in for a very unpleasant surprise!  More like 120 degrees and you can die from that heat.  Best hiking time is spring or fall for this trail.  Summer is too dangerous, unless you are used to that broiler-oven desert heat.  You need a permit to hike this trail, and since it is popular with backpackers, you will have to get it 4 months in advance, and it is not free.  If you have never backpacked before they won't issue it to you, either. (...)...
