Bamke Spring is always fun to check out; Greer Lakes Campground is a glorious local campground. From a precipitation point of view Greer Lakes is a relatively typical location; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and June is when it's the driest. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. The snow is delightful at Sunrise Park, and if you       need a place to stay Americas Best Value Inn-Springerville is a fine choice. All the outdoors amusing stuff close to Greer Lakes will keep you coming back again and again. You'll hit upon a picturesque lake called River Reservoir near Greer Lakes; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Sunrise Inn. If you feel like a little side visit, try Butler Canyon, and do take a look at River Reservoir Number Three Dam since you're here. If you love the outdoors you'll                  love it here in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. Lakes are such serene locations, why not stop at River Reservoir close to Greer Lakes; Greer Lakes is a fine site to visit for more than one day, Rolfe C Hoyer Campground is a fine site to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Why not stop at nearby Fish Creek while you're here at Greer Lakes; there are good locations to look at along the Sheep Crossing_Baldy Ninetyfour Trail. During the days of summer here at Greer Lakes, high temperatures typically get into the 80's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 40's. Highs all through the winter are frequently in the 40's with temperatures at Greer Lakes dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. You can run the rapids of Black River - East Fork in close proximity to Greer Lakes, and Sizer Knoll can be seen from Greer Lakes.
