This lake is so wonderful. Boy Creek Campground is a tremendous campground nearby, and an afternoon playing golf at Pinetop Lakes Golf & Country Clubs is always a pleasure. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Mogollon Rim Mountains has to offer. The peak of Haystack Mountain can be seen from Gooseberry Dam Lake. PVC at Roundhouse Resort is a pleasant       site to get some rest; there's some flowing water close by, Trout Creek is a stream you can stop at during your stay. The Mogollon Rim Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Places like Cluff Cienega are great to have a look at, unsurprisingly you could also go to Duck Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. All through the summer highs here at Gooseberry Dam Lake reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. All through                  the winter highs are mostly in the 40's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Gooseberry Dam Lake temperatures plunge to the 10's. And that's not all you can do here at Gooseberry Dam Lake. Gooseberry Dam Lake is a pleasant site to visit for more than one day, Lower Log Road Campground is a pleasant site to camp nearby; the slopes of Sunrise Park are so inviting noone can resist.
