A visit to Gambler Lake is always a good idea. Summertime at Gambler Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's with temperatures at Gambler Lake dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. Burnt Place Valley is near Gambler Lake and is positively a pleasant location to stop by; a trip to Canyon De Chelly National Monument is worthwhile. This lake is located in the wonderful Black Mesa. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Kayenta, Az is a great spot to spend a night or two; if you came to camp Tsegi Canyon Campground is a delightful location to do that.
