The Black Mesa scenery is always beautiful. A good place close to Gambler Lake is Burnt Place Valley; if you've had enough of Gambler Lake, Forest Lake is close by. Throughout the summertime at       Gambler Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's, and the night is slightly cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are typically in the 30's while Gambler Lake night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. If time allows, Canyon De Chelly National Monument is a national park worth a visit.
