If you came for an overnight stay Mule Hoof Campground is a delightful spot to camp, and a wonderful nearby hotel is Americas Best Value Inn Globe/Miami. So much fun stuff in the Mogollon Rim Mountains, just amazing. There are some fine whitewater spots on Salt River, and one of the dominant marks of the surroundings of       Frog Pond is Black Mesa. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Travelodge Globe AZ is a great location to spend a night or two; Well Canyon is in the neighborhood, and is a perfect location. During the summer highs here at Frog Pond get into the 90's; the overnight is rather chillier of course, ordinarily in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are typically in the 50's while Frog Pond nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime                  are in the 20's. And that's not all you can do here in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. Not far from Frog Pond, you'll come across Bonehead Catchment which is a beautiful lake; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Mescal Pit Catchment Basin. Frog Pond is a beautiful lake in the Mogollon Rim Mountains.
