     There's so much to do here at Franks Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Kaibab Camper Village is a good site for that, and if you've had enough of Franks Reservoir, Winter Road Catchment is nearby. If you came to camp Jacob Lake Campground is a splendid location to do that, and you're probably addicted to lakes, Bentonite Reservoir is one of those close by. At Franks Reservoir you don’t see much rain; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily  
   March, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is June.
For the period of the long summer days at Franks Reservoir temperatures are generally in the 90's with overnight lows in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Franks Reservoir sink into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Buckskin Mountains is a peak you can observe from Franks Reservoir; after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Kanab is a wonderful place to spend a night or two.
