Camping at FR 212 Dispersed is always a great experience, and a visit to Kaibab National Forest when you're here is never a bad idea. Near Franks Lake you find the Tiyo Point Trail which is a glorious hiking trail, and you can go for a hike on the Transept Trail. Franks Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, DeMotte Campground is a wonderful local campground. Dry warm beds await you at Red Feather Lodge, and going for a hike on the Bass Trail
is always a good adventure. Franks Lake gets very little rainfall. The month with most of the rain is August; June is the month with the least moisture.
