If you are in Navajo county it's always a good idea to stop by Forest Lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Black Mesa. If you need a location to stay Canyon is a splendid choice; Toh Ne Zhonnie Spring is a pretty spot to explore while you're at Forest Lake. All through the summer months at Forest Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are generally in the 30's, and overnight lows at Forest Lake throughout the winter usually fall into the 10's. Holiday Inn Kayenta, Az is a great site to get some rest, and Crows Nest Valley is a magnificent location to stop at. This lake is so wonderful. A tour to Canyon De Chelly National Monument is worthwhile.
