Hiking along the Many Skulls Trail is nice fun, and a glorious nearby hotel is Quality Inn Navajo Nation Capital. Fluted Rock Lake is a location that is reasonably arid regularly; August is the wettest month with most rain, and June is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Black Rock Trail; lakes are such serene places, why not check out Quartzite Wash       Reservoir. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things right next door to Fluted Rock Lake. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn CANYON DE CHELLY (CHINLE) is a brilliant place to spend a night or two. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Fluted Rock Lake with overnight lows in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Fluted Rock Lake. You'll need more than                  a day to explore everything Fluted Rock Lake has to offer, you can camp at Summit Campground, and do take a hike on the Many Ladders Trail.
