Why not take a refreshing hike along the Highline Trail, and Bear Canyon Lake is a splendid lake close by. You don’t have to go far from Fivemile Lake to distinguish the water at Bear Canyon Dam, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not stop at Dudley Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Fivemile Lake; Horton Creek Trail is a great local trail.       You'll need more than a day to look at everything Fivemile Lake has to offer, you can camp at Knoll Lake Campground. During the warm days of summer highs here at Fivemile Lake reach the 90's; the night is a little chillier of course, generally in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 50's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Fivemile Lake descend into the 20's. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors just                  come on up to the Mogollon Rim Mountains. The Bear Flat Pleasant Valley Trail offers hiking at its best, and Kohls Ranch Lodge is a brilliant place to get some rest. Fivemile Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; June on the other hand is the driest. Having a perfect time at Fivemile Lake is simple.
