If you adore the outdoors, you'll adore Firebox Lake. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Black River - East Fork; hiking is a popular thing to do around Firebox Lake; Foote Creek Seventy-six Trail                  is a great local trail. A great nearby hotel is Best Western Sunrise Inn; the Steeple Mesa Seventy-Three Trail offers hiking at its best. Be careful coming to the Mogollon Rim Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again.
