The beauty of Firebird Lake is reason enough to stop by. There are plenty of people from Phoenix-Mesa-Scottsdale here at Firebird Lake, and Dry Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could explore. Firebird Lake gets very little precipitation; most of the rain falls through December, and the driest month of the year is May.
Do pay a visit to Casa Grande Ruins National Monument since you're here at Firebird Lake, and Apache Palms RV Park is a great local campground.

Throughout the summertime months, highs mostly are in the 100's at Firebird Lake while overnight lows are generally in the 80's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 60's, and winter nights come with lows in the 40's to Firebird Lake. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Foothills Golf Club is always a bliss, and while you're here, you could also stop at pretty Knoll East Subdivision Water Retention Basin.
