All our national parks are pleasant locations to go to, and Chiricahua National Monument is no exception, and why not a little side spree to No Name Wash. Good hiking is available along the Shingle Mill Mesa Thirty Five Trail, and a good nearby hotel is SpringHill Suites Thatcher. There are plenty of people from Safford here at Evans Pond; if you came to camp Red Lamp Mobile Home Park is a tremendous place to do that. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this

Mud Springs is always fun to check out; an exciting thing to stop at near Evans Pond is Cluff Ranch Number Three Dam. A delightful place to stop at in the vicinity of Evans Pond is White Streaks Canyon, and do go to Cluff Reservoir Number Three, it's a striking lake. This lake is so wonderful. heaps but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Evans Pond. The view of pretty Mud Springs Knoll near Evans Pond is great; for you golfers we recommend close by MT Graham Golf Course. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Evans
Pond while night lows are typically in the 70's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 50's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Evans Pond temperatures descend to the 30's.
