Why not stop by Encanto Lagoon if you're passing through these parts. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Encanto 18 Hole Golf Course; at Encanto Lagoon you always meet someone from Phoenix-Mesa-Scottsdale. If you came to camp Tortilla - Tonto National Forest is a delightful site to do that; Hampton Inn Phoenix/Midtown/Dwtn Area is a fine site to get some rest. During the summertime highs here at Encanto Lagoon get into the 100's. For the

| | period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 70's. The winter brings highs down to the 60's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Encanto Lagoon drop into the 30's.
If time allows, Casa Grande Ruins National Monument is a national park worth visiting. Encanto Lagoon gets very little rainfall; March is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is June. Camping at Maricopa County Regional Park System is always a good experience; if you need a site to stay National at The Barrington Regent is a pleasant choice.
