All through the summer highs here at East Lake get into the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for East Lake. Not much rainfall falls here at East Lake; during August this area sees       the most rain, and June meanwhile is the driest month. You get a great vista of Telephone Hill from East Lake, and Red Point is an interesting thing to see while you're here. A charming lake like Joes Mud Hole in the vicinity of East Lake is a splendid place to pop by. You'll need more than a day to look at everything East Lake has to offer, you can camp at Jacob Lake Campground. But wait, there's more to do near East Lake. There's so much to do here at                  East Lake that you need to camp here for a while, DeMotte Campground is a good place for that, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Bass Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
