    A visit to Dude Lake is always a good idea. Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Dude Lake. Take a hike on the Horton Creek Trail; a pleasant site to camp here at Dude Lake is Third Crossing Campground. Not far from Dude Lake, you'll find Myrtle Lake which is a striking lake, and camping is available at Second Crossing Campground. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Dude Lake. When the night sets in temperatures  
   drop down into the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 50's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Dude Lake temperatures drop to the 20's.
Around Dude Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is June. So many enjoyable things in the Mogollon Rim Mountains, just incredible. While staying at Dude Lake you could always discover West Bear Canyon, and if you're
 
               hooked on cool geologic traits try Burnt Point. This lake is located in the wonderful Mogollon Rim Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Highline Trail; after a long day outdoors Best Western Payson Inn is a wonderful site to spend a night or two. And that's not all you can do here in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. If you need a site to stay Super 8 Motel is a wonderful choice. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Dude Lake; Myrtle Trail is a wonderful local trail, and there are other places here than Dude Lake, for example Lost Lake.

...ntain the fire. Recent rains have moderated fire intensity, creating burning conditions which will achieve resource benefit objectives.

The fire was active yesterday due to increased temperatures, moving to the southwest and reaching the Highline Trail. A successful burn-out was conducted last night along a ridge on the eastern boundary.

The area encompassed by the following trail boundaries (including the trails themselves) is closed to support firefighting operations and provide for public safety until further notice: On the west side, from the top of Rim Trail 290 (Col. Devin Trail) and Trail 390 (Railroad Tunnel Trail) down to the Washington Park Trailhead. Closures on the south side are from Trail 31 (Highline Trail) at the Washington Park Trailhead east to Trail 30 (Myrtle Trail). Closures on the east side are Trail 30 (Myrtle Trail) from the top of the Rim south to the intersection of Trail 31 (Highline Trail).

?We were camping near Clints Well and Happy Jack area with our two dogs, Small Beagal and Black Lab.Both females. They took off after bunnies and never came back to campsite. This happened? the last weekend of July. If any hikers or anyone at campgrounds has seen these dogs please call 623 214 2098.We are located in Phoenix.
