A tour to Horsethief Canyon is always fun; you can go for a hike on the Kendrick Peak Trail. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn-Flagstaff is a nice location to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Dry Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Coconino County Government is a pleasant place for that. And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do in the vicinity of Dry Lake. Not far from Dry Lake,

| | you'll come across Prong Lake which is a pretty lake, and Bull Basin Mesa is a peak you can see from Dry Lake. Dry Lake is pretty arid mostly; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is June. There are other places here than Dry Lake, for example Moritz Lake.
