This place, the Mogollon Rim Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Nearby Pryce Canyon is a nice spot to go if you're at Donkey Lake; after a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn Globe/Miami is a great site to spend a night or two. Be careful coming to Donkey Lake, you might not ever wanna go       home again. If you came to camp Blue Lake Campground is a wonderful place to do that. This lake is one of the great places here in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. For the duration of the warm days of summer highs here at Donkey Lake get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 40's; nighttime lows during the wintertime for Donkey Lake tend to be in the 10's. A great close by hotel is Best Western                  Sawmill Inn, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Louse Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Foot Canyon Trail is always a great adventure. Lakes are splendid; Wagon Wheel Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Donkey Lake.
