Dipping Vat Reservoir

Pretty country, but not much else to draw people to Dipping Vat Reservoir. Gabaldon campground is limited to campers with horses or stock animals. Access to the East Baldy trail.

Places like Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest are glorious to stop by. Dipping Vat Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Mogollon Rim Mountains.
There's a tremendous 10-mile-long hiking trail with a tremendous 1,996-foot difference in elevation close at hand; this scenic hiking
trail is the West Baldy Trail. A tough hiking trail it is; West Baldy Trail takes in the order of one and a half days to hike. And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do in the neighborhood of Dipping Vat Reservoir.
