A lake nearby is Shale Rock Pond, and there are great places to discover along the Honeymoon Pack Trail. Summertime highs at Dike Pond commonly tend to be in the 100's while overnight lows are commonly in the 60's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 50's with temperatures at Dike Pond dipping down       into the 20's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
