Lake in the Desert is a nice lake to visit. Dry warm beds await you at Casa Grande Super 8 Motel, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Picacho Reservoir. If you came to camp Fiesta Grande RV Resort is a good place to do that, and Casa Grande Ruins National Monument is a pleasant site nearby.  | 11 miles away Visited on 6/29/08 and found nothing but a dry lake bed. I was expecting at least some water given the good snow cover up north this year. I guess the CAP water has replaced the need for this reservoir.... |
