Davenport Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Don't leave Davenport Lake without first going for a hike along the Benham National Recreation Trail, and why not head up to Arizona Snowbowl and strap some skis to your feet. A lake nearby is Dry Lake; the Little Lookout Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Davenport Lake gets very little precipitation; most of the rain falls during August, and the driest month of the year is June.

All through the winter the highs are frequently in the 40's; nighttime lows at Davenport Lake through the wintertime ordinarily drop into the 20's. Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Williams Koa Kampground is a great local campground; Williams is a very popular ski area close at hand. You could also have a look at Tanque Piedra if you're here at Davenport Lake;
it's close by, and if you need a location to stay Quality Inn Mountain Ranch & Resort is a good choice. Any time is a brilliant time at Davenport Lake if you like the outdoors. A tremendous site to camp here at Davenport Lake is Circle Pines KOA, and there's magnificent hiking along the Bill Williams National Recreation Trail.
