A wonderful spot for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Crescent Lake is Black River - East Fork, and if the weather is pretty, you obtain a brilliant vista of S U Knolls from Crescent Lake. Best Western Sunrise Inn is a delightful spot to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Crescent Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Gabaldon Campground is a pleasant       location for that. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. Don't leave Crescent Lake without first paying a visit to 75 Spring, and the Sheep Crossing_Baldy Ninetyfour Trail is a wonderful hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Crescent Lake has to offer, you can camp at Rainbow Campground, and there is a wonderful hiking trail close by called the KP Trail Seventy.                  So much entertaining stuff in the Mogollon Rim Mountains, just astonishing. Do stop at Basin Lake near Crescent Lake, it's a lovely lake, and after a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn-Springerville is a pleasant place to spend a night or two. Crescent Lake is one of the lakes here in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. The skiing at Sunrise Park is good; Big Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Crescent Lake Dam is worth stopping at while you're here. The amount of rainfall that falls at Crescent Lake is close to the national average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while June is frequently the driest month. Throughout the months of summer here at Crescent Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's.
