You must absolutely dedicate some time to Hart Prairie while you're here at Crater Lake; needless to say, all our national parks are brilliant locations to check out and Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument is no exception. Crater Lake is pretty arid mostly; August is the wettest month with most rain; June meanwhile is the driest month. Not far from Crater Lake, you'll hit upon Bismarck Lake which is a gorgeous lake, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Little Lookout Trail. If you need a place to stay Days Inn Flagstaff - West Route 66 is a perfect choice, and going for a hike along the Kendrick Peak Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. from Flagstaff. At Crater Lake during the days of summer highs are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 40's. All through the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 40's while Crater Lake overnight low temperatures
through the wintertime are in the 0's. A day on the slopes of Arizona Snowbowl is just what you need, and Coconino County Government is a splendid local campground.
