Red Lake is a lake close at hand, and Crater Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Rock Crossing Campground is a wonderful local campground. Crater Lake gets very little rain; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is June. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Kinnikinick Campground is a glorious spot to do that, and you're probably addicted to lakes, Soldier       Lake is one of those nearby. Broomy Valley is a tremendous place here at Crater Lake; dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Flagstaff Resort. For the duration of the warm days of summer highs here at Crater Lake reach the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's.
