Crane Lake is not the only site nearby, Franks Lake is a nearby lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Crane Lake has to offer, you can camp at DeMotte Campground. At Crane Lake you don’t see much precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August, and June on the other       hand is the driest. There's so much to do here at Crane Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Jacob Lake Campground is a good site for that, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites GRAND CANYON is a perfect place to get some rest. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a perfect time here at Crane Lake. Crane Lake is right by the Transept Trail, and the Bass Trail offers hiking at its best. Summertime highs at Crane Lake regularly tend to be in the                  70's with night lows in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Crane Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
