Lakes? Sure, Kinnikinick Lake is in the neighborhood; a wonderful place to camp here at Cow Lake is Kinnikinick Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Morton Lake is a great lake near Cow Lake; Kinnikinick Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out. Through the warm months here at Cow Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's while Cow Lake overnight

It is very dried up here at Cow Lake usually; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and June is when it's the driest. A nice close by hotel is Fairfield Flagstaff Resort; why not camp at Forked Pine Campground since you're here at Cow Lake. | |

 | 18 miles away ?We were camping near Clints Well and Happy Jack area with our two dogs, Small Beagal and Black Lab.Both females. They took off after bunnies and never came back to campsite. This happened? the last weekend of July. If any hikers or anyone at campgrounds has seen these dogs please call 623 214 2098.We are located in Phoenix. Our small children were devesated so I am trying to get as much info out there to try and get them back. Thank you the Walker Family... |
