It is very arid here at Corral Lake mostly; during the month of August you get the most rain around here; June meanwhile is the driest month. Lakes are such serene sites, why not stop at Mile-and-a-half Lake in the neighborhood of Corral Lake. This       lake is so wonderful. Pipe Spring National Monument is a very delightful spot to have a look at near Corral Lake, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Bass Trail. There are other places here than Corral Lake, for example Fracas Lake; Corral Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Southwest Recreation is a great local campground. Through the summer at Corral Lake highs are frequently in the 70's. For the period of the dark                  hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's.
