These mountains rock, just look at all the amusing stuff to do in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. Sunrise Park is a very popular ski area close at hand. The Mogollon Rim Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. A good nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express PINETOP,       and Pinetop Lakes Golf & Country Clubs is a golf course close by. Summertime highs at Cooley Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's; through the dark hours in the winter at Cooley Lake temperatures descend to the 10's. Amos Mountain is trouble-free to spot from Cooley Lake; if you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel - Pinetop is a glorious choice. It is very                  dried up here at Cooley Lake regularly; August is when you get the most rain here, and June meanwhile is the driest month. Just can't get enough of Cooley Lake. The scenery at Cooley Dam close to Cooley Lake is lovely; Cooley Lake is a fine place to visit for more than one day, Bootleg Lake Campground is a fine place to camp nearby. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Mogollon Rim Mountains.
