     You'll need more than a day to look at everything Coffee Lake has to offer, you can camp at Roaring Springs Campground, and Bear Lake is a delightful lake nearby. If you need a spot to stay The Grand Hotel is a nice choice, and Coffee Lake is a wonderful location to visit for more than one day, DeMotte Campground is a wonderful location to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you haven’t been to Grand Canyon National Park, you should schedule some time for  
   it while you're here; dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites GRAND CANYON. Coffee Lake is right by the Tiyo Point Trail, and a picturesque lake like Wall Lake is a perfect place to stop at.
If you fancy the outdoors, you'll like Coffee Lake. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Bass Trail, and do take a hike on the Transept Trail. Around Coffee Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily
 
               August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is June.
At Coffee Lake during the summertime months highs are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Coffee Lake descend into the 10's.

(...) Hermit trail is in the Grand Canyon! And anyone who thinks it will be in the 70's in summer in the bottom of the Grand Canyon is in for a very unpleasant surprise!  More like 120 degrees and you can die from that heat.  Best hiking time is spring or fall for this trail.  Summer is too dangerous, unless you are used to that broiler-oven desert heat.  You need a permit to hike this trail, and since it is popular with backpackers, you will have to get it 4 months in advance, and it is not free.  If you have never backpacked before they won't issue it to you, either. (...)...
