Coconino Lake is a nice lake to visit. Fairfield Flagstaff Resort is a delightful spot to get some rest; a short journey to Ashurst Spring is always worthwhile. Do pay a visit to Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument if you're here at Coconino Lake; why not camp at Ashurst Lake Campground if you're here at Coconino Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is brilliant here at Coconino Lake, you can go for a hike along the Walnut Canyon Loop Trail,

At Coconino Lake you don’t see much precipitation; the wettest month of the year is commonly July, that's the one that rains the most while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
