The amount of rainfall that falls at Christmas Tree Lake is close to the national average; July is when you get the most rain here, and June is when it's the driest. All through the summer months, highs commonly are in the 80's at Christmas Tree Lake. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for       Christmas Tree Lake. Christmas Tree Lake is located in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. But wait, there's more to do next to Christmas Tree Lake. There's so much to do here at Christmas Tree Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Horseshoe Cienega Lake Campground is a nice place for that, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Sheep Crossing_Baldy Ninetyfour Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Mogollon Rim Mountains. You                  could also stop by Earl Park Lake while you're here at Christmas Tree Lake; it's close by, and Moon Creek is near Christmas Tree Lake and is always a joy to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. On a glorious day you can stop by Maverick Cienega, a swamp near Christmas Tree Lake, and if you need a place to stay PVC at Roundhouse Resort is a magnificent choice. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Mogollon Rim Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. Head up to Sunrise Park and strap some skis to your feet. A fine nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Pinetop, and there's whitewater on Black River - & East Fork for all you adrenaline junkies. Stay the night at Cyclone Lake Campground; most likely you're looking for close by lakes?
