High temperatures at Cheyney Lake through the warm days of summer are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's typically in the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Cheyney Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The view of Cerro Quemado from Cheyney Lake is picturesque, and a       lake nearby is Carnero Lake. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn-Springerville, and camping at Rolfe C Hoyer Campground is always a brilliant experience. All the outdoors fun things close to Cheyney Lake will keep you coming back again and again. If you need a location to stay Best Western Sunrise Inn is a great choice, and Atascacita Springs                  is always fun to check out. This lake is one of the great places here in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. That right there is plenty of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Mogollon Rim Mountains has it all. Good hiking is available along the Sheep Crossing_Baldy Ninetyfour Trail, and you can never get enough of the delightful skiing at Sunrise Park.
