For the duration of the warm days of summer at Chatfield Pond highs are regularly in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 70's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's while the cold winter nights at Chatfield Pond are in the 30's. Not far from Chatfield Pond, you'll locate Cluff Reservoir Number       Three which is a pretty lake, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Shingle Mill Mesa Thirty Five Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Chatfield Pond, you could go to Cottonwood Creek. Camping is available at Red Lamp Mobile Home Park, and if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Ash Creek Trail Three Hundred Seven. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn & Suites Thatcher, and since you                  might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Evans Pond. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do next to Chatfield Pond. A perfect spot to visit close to Chatfield Pond is White Streaks Canyon, and the Carter Canyon Number Thirty four Trail is a pleasant hiking trail close by. If time allows, Chiricahua National Monument is a national park worth visiting, and if you came for an overnight stay Soldier Creek Campground is a magnificent location to camp.
