     The beauty of Canyon Lake attracts many people from all around. A brilliant place close to Canyon Lake is Black Canyon; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Apache Junction Inn. Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do are in fact plentiful here at Canyon Lake. Everybody loves Mormon Flat, and some exciting geology is available here, Ittindi Rock is right here. You're almost certainly hooked on lakes, Apache Lake is one of those close by, and Lost Dutchman State Park  
   is a great campground nearby.
You absolutely have to love Canyon Lake. The Black Mesa Trail is a magnificent hiking trail near Canyon Lake, and float down the rapids of Salt River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. A quick journey to Cottonwood Creek near Canyon Lake is a brilliant idea, and you can stay the night at Canyon Lake Marina And Campground.
While you're here at Canyon Lake you can take a hike along the Second Water Trail, and probably
 
               you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Saguaro Lake is just a very short distance away. Not much rainfall falls here at Canyon Lake; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain; June on the other hand is the driest. Mormon Flat Dam is a spot that is near Canyon Lake, and after a long day outdoors Gold Canyon Golf Resort is a tremendous site to spend a night or two.
This lake is so wonderful. On a magnificent day at Canyon Lake you can take a hike along the Boulder Trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit Verde River. All through the summer months at Canyon Lake highs are frequently in the 100's with night lows in the 70's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 60's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Canyon Lake plunge into the 30's.
