This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Boulder Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Verde River. A spree to Mormon Flat invigorates the soul, and if you need a site to stay Best Western Apache Junction Inn is a delightful choice.

spree to Cottonwood Creek; close by you come across Black Canyon which is a delightful place to stop at. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Second Water Trail, and Mormon Flat Dam is a delightful spot. For the duration of the
summer months at Canyon Lake highs are generally in the 100's, and through the night it cools down to the 70's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 60's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Canyon Lake.
