There's so much to do here at Camelsback Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Clifton RV Park is a magnificent spot for that, and going for a hike on the Frye Trail Twelve is always a fine adventure. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here, you might as well stop by Bill Canyon. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the San Francisco Mountains, too glorious to be true. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you       can always stop at close by Yuma Wash Reservoir, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Safford here. All the outdoors cool things near Camelsback Lake will keep you coming back time and again. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn & Suites; if you came to camp Granville Campground is a tremendous place to do that. The San Francisco Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Camelsback Lake, you'll stumble on Tailings                  Water Reclamation Reservoir which is a pretty lake, and you can go for a hike on the H L Canyon Eleven Trail. Gila River is a perfect whitewater spot close to Camelsback Lake, and nearby you locate the Safford Morence Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. All year is a tremendous time in the San Francisco Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors.
