This lake is located in the wonderful Mogollon Rim Mountains. Rolfe C Hoyer Campground is a good local campground, and Bunch Reservoir is near Butler Canyon which is absolutely worth stopping at. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Bunch Reservoir. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while       the cold winter nights at Bunch Reservoir are in the 10's. The amount of rain that falls at Bunch Reservoir is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is August, and June meanwhile is the driest month. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Bamke Spring is a delightful site to take a look at while you're at Bunch Reservoir, and Rosey Creek Campground is a magnificent campground nearby. So many enjoyable things to do in the Mogollon                  Rim Mountains, not enough time. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Black River - East Fork, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Sunrise Park since you're here. This place, the Mogollon Rim Mountains, has so much outdoors cool stuff. The Sheep Crossing_Baldy Ninetyfour Trail is a great hiking trail next to Bunch Reservoir, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Sunrise Inn. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Bunch Reservoir, you could also stop at close by River Reservoir, and why not a little side trip to Benny Creek.
