Just can't get enough of Black Canyon Lake. A lake close by is Baca Lake, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Chevelon Creek. Why not stop at Black Canyon Dam since you're here; you might also want to pay a visit to Baca Canyon if you're here at Black Canyon Lake. And if that's not sufficient there's heaps more entertaining things to do in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. Black Canyon Lake is not the only location nearby,       Twin Lakes is a nearby lake, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Sawmill Inn is a glorious location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. There are nice locations to look at along the West Holcomb Trail, and if you need a place to stay Kohls Ranch Lodge is a great choice. During the warmest time of the year here at Black Canyon Lake, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down                  to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are usually in the 40's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for Black Canyon Lake tend to be in the 10's. Just can't get enough of the Mogollon Rim Mountains. Go for a hike on the Foot Canyon Trail, and a perfect spot to camp here at Black Canyon Lake is Wildhorse Lake Campground. Black Canyon Lake is a beautiful lake in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. Black Canyon Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Gentry Campground is a splendid local campground, and Twin Springs is an inspiring location to stop at while here.
